Open Monday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed from 12:00 PM to 1:00 for lunch. Open Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Closed from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for lunch. Open the 1st Saturday of the month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Office is closed 2nd Thursday of the month from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM for staff development. Office is closed the Friday after the 1st Saturday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

1. Review documentation and determine your WIC eligibility.
2. Weigh, measure and check iron status for you (if pregnant) and your child.
3. Answer any questions you may have about health, nutrition or breastfeeding.
   At your visit, WIC staff will give you a Texas WIC card to use at the grocery store with a food package to meet your family's nutritional needs.

Breastfeeding can get hard and getting help is easy with WIC. If you're looking for breastfeeding support, your local WIC office at 4410 Reed Rd in Houston is here to help. They can connect you with WIC lactation consultants, breastfeeding classes, peer counselors and a 24/7 statewide hotline to support your breastfeeding journey every step of the way. WIC's classes cover a variety of topics, including:

• Different breastfeeding positions.
• How to get a good latch.
• Feeding patterns.
• Baby's hunger cues and more.

At WIC, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get the information you're looking for when it comes to health and nutrition for your little ones. That's why we offer free online classes, even if you are not a WIC client. Many WIC offices have in-person classes, too. Our classes cover various topics, including healthy eating, breastfeeding tips and more.

Our classes are designed to fit your busy schedule, with on-demand classes that can be taken whenever it's convenient for you, as well as live classes where you can connect with other parents in your community or ask questions for our nutrition and breastfeeding experts.
