Open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Open Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Open the 3rd Saturday of the month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Office is closed the Friday after the 3rd Saturday.

Children younger than 5, pregnant or breastfeeding mothers in Humble can benefit from the WIC program, which provides healthy food, nutrition classes and one-on-one counseling with nutritionists. Looking for healthy food, nutrition education or breastfeeding tips and support in Humble? Applying for WIC is easy! You can begin your application online or call the WIC office in Humble near you to schedule an appointment. WIC is available to many families, and if you or your children receive Medicaid, SNAP or TANF, you automatically meet the income eligibility guidelines for WIC. Even if you don't receive these programs, you may still qualify by meeting the income guidelines for your household. Don't hesitate to apply and get the benefits that WIC offers!

If this is your first appointment at Humble WIC Center, 8950 Will Clayton Pkwy, Humble, please visit TexasWIC.org to review what documentation is needed. During your appointment, WIC office staff will:

1. Review documentation and determine your WIC eligibility.
2. Weigh, measure, and check iron status for you (if pregnant) and your child.
3. Answer any questions you may have about health, nutrition or breastfeeding.
   At the end of your visit, you'll receive a Texas WIC card to use at the store with a food package specially designed to meet your needs.

Breastfeeding is a natural and beautiful way to provide the best nutrition for your baby, and it can be challenging at times. Your local WIC office at 8950 Will Clayton Pkwy in Humble is here to help! They can connect you to various WIC resources to support your breastfeeding journey. WIC's lactation consultants, classes, peer counselors and 24/7 statewide hotline are available to help you breastfeed successfully. The breastfeeding classes cover topics such as:

• Different breastfeeding positions.
• How to get a good latch.
• Feeding patterns.
• Baby's hunger cues and more.
  For 24/7 breastfeeding help, call the Texas Lactation Support Hotline at 855-550-6667. This hotline is free and available to anyone in Texas.

Whether you like to learn on your own or chat with other moms and experts, WIC has options for you. We offer free online classes, and many WIC offices offer in-person group classes, too. Our classes cover many topics, from healthy eating through pregnancy, breastfeeding tips, picky eating during the toddler years and more!

Our "click and learn" classes are available anytime, and our live classes give you the opportunity to interact with our nutrition and breastfeeding experts and connect with other parents in your community. And because we know everyone's schedule is different, we offer classes at various times throughout the week.
