Open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM. Open Thursday from 7:45 AM to 7:30 PM. Open Friday from 7:45 AM to 12:45 PM. Open the 3rd Saturday of the month from 7:45 AM to 11:45 AM. Office is closed the 1st Friday of the month for staff development.

If you are attending your first appointment at Pecan Valley WIC Clinic, 802 Pecan Valley Dr, San Antonio, visit TexasWIC.org to learn what documentation is needed. During your appointment, WIC office staff will:

1. Review documentation and determine your WIC eligibility.
2. Weigh, measure and check iron status for you (if pregnant) and your child.
3. Answer any questions you may have about health, nutrition or breastfeeding.
   At the end of your visit, you will get a food package specially designed to meet your family's nutritional needs and a Texas WIC card to use at the grocery store.

They can connect you with WIC lactation consultants, breastfeeding classes, peer counselors and a 24/7 statewide hotline to support your breastfeeding journey every step of the way. Our classes cover many topics, from healthy eating through pregnancy, breastfeeding tips, picky eating during the toddler years and more!

Our "click and learn" classes are available anytime, and our live classes give you the opportunity to interact with our nutrition and breastfeeding experts and connect with other parents in your community. And because we know everyone's schedule is different, we offer classes at various times throughout the week.
